Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you feel the love today from someone in your life! And if not just know that I’m sending love and a huge hug your way. If you’re reading this I have a feeling that we have a thing or two in common which connects us instantly. 😉
I’ve been making my boys heart waffles this week and they turned out so cute!
My first attempt was an epic fail, but now I have it figured out (less is clearly more with the batter.. ha). I found this fun waffle maker on-line and it looks so good if you want to make more at one time. It’s sitting in my on-line cart and will most likely land on my doorstep. I think it will be fun to use when the kids have friends over even if it’s not Valentine’s Day.
Hearts are always a good thing. 🙂
I’m sharing some recent fridge favorites today! I love my snackle box so much for snacks that I decided to try some similar options for my fridge. This fruit and veggie tray has been perfect. I love that I can just pull the whole thing out and take off the lid and we have healthy snacks ready to eat. If Kole wants blueberries with his breakfast I just pull out the smaller removable tray.
Sometimes I take out all of the removable trays and use the large tray for our lettuce. I don’t know how long this will keep lettuce fresh to be honest because we go through ours pretty fast and always eat it long before it goes bad, but this has been a perfect solution at our house.
One afternoon when I knew I would be in the car for a few hours driving Kole around I just picked this fruit/veggie tray up by the handle and took the whole thing with me!
This divided snack tray is the same concept and another favorite I bought at the beginning of the year.
I pull the small trays out on this one and take them with me in the car almost every afternoon. A year and a half until Kole is driving himself around. I can’t even imagine life without being an uber for my kids!
I’ve been excited about these plastic storage bins for a while now because the large size is perfect for the yogurt we like to eat. (Kenny and I each like a different brand.. ha.)
I can fit two side by side and they are the perfect height. I was using smaller bins for yogurt before and couldn’t fit as many inside. These come in multiple sizes!
This deli storage container is perfect for turkey and cheese. Or any meat! You can pull out the divider too if you want to store something larger like hot dogs or bacon. There is a spot on the lid where you can write the expiration date with a dry erase marker too. Genius.
I’m clearly a fan of lids that snap. 🙂
Love this egg holder too. It’s stackable if you buy a lot of eggs and the inside tray slants so when you take one egg out the next in line rolls forward.
Our fridge never looks the exact same week to week but we do have some things that I always buy and these containers have been favorites on repeat. I still use these Walmart containers too from time to time, but right now I’m loving these larger divided trays for feeding my crew. Easy to just set one thing out on the counter for them to devour! Nothing is safe and lasts long when you live with a 14 year old boy. 🙂 Also yes.. I know Coke Zero isn’t the healthiest but I’m a firm believer in balance. 😉
This is an item I ordered to try in January but it didn’t fit great on my fridge shelves (mine aren’t very deep). I wanted to share it as an option in case it works for you! A great way to store smaller bottles and items that can easily get lost towards the back of the fridge. This swings out making everything easily accessible.
I’ve shared this pizza storage container before.. genius and we use it all the time!
It comes with 5 dividers to lay slices of pizza on, but sometimes I don’t use them and just stack the pizza so that I can fit more slices!
The bottom expands to fit a lot.
So much smarter than a huge pizza box that takes up half the fridge!
Not really for the fridge, but I also love these collapsible microwave covers.
This small cover works perfectly over bowls!
No more splashing and mess!
You can also flip them upside down and use them as a strainer.
They collapse thin so they are easy to store! They also wash easily and you can put them in the dishwasher.
Nothing like a clean and organized fridge!
Planning on getting take out tonight so that mine stays that way.
😉
Enjoy your Friday!
